Fire causes $1500 damage to Dinterman home
Fire at the Fountain Rock dwelling of Albert Dinterman caused about $1500 in damage to a vacant two story log frame house near the Fountain Springs reservoir. Walkersville volunteers responded at 3:50 pm with water, while Independence Hose and Frederick engine crews assisted. No one was home. Mrs Dinterman was away at the quarry store with the youngest child. other children were at school. An oil stove incident and cooking left unattended sparked the blaze.
