Search for replacement of Maryland livestock extension leader begins
The death of William A Curry at 64 prompted the University of Maryland to begin a national search for a new state Extension livestock specialist. A committee will be approved to fill a role split 70 percent Extension and 30 percent instructional, with a six to nine month timeline, while 4-H and state fair programs continue under interim guidance.
