Not all trips turn out well on travel misadventure
A collage of traveler mishaps and travel scams recounts a Panama Canal dream cruise that turned into a nightmare aboard the Galaxy. Delays, broken engines, theft, mutiny, and poor conditions led to a Texas consumer lawsuit and a shuttered agency. Other tales include hotel chaos in Grenada, missed trains in Germany, wrong flights in Denver and Sacramento, and a China medical mishap, all underscoring how quick trips can sour.
