Desert Storm Families Relief Fund Opens in Frederick

A fund started by the Frederick County Chapter of the Red Cross at Frederick County National Bank aids spouses of service members in Desert Storm. Donations support obligations families cannot meet while reservists and enlisted personnel serve in the Persian Gulf.

Vietnam Veterans to discuss Middle East crisis at Free Speech Club

A meeting of the Free Speech Club will discuss the Mideast crisis at 7 p.m. on Thursday March 7 in the Winchester Room at Winchester Hall 12 E Church St Frederick. Participants include Bill McKee Sara Vermeulen Art James and Leon Adler all veterans of Vietnam. Mr James recently returned from Vietnam. The program is open to the public.
