USAMRDC Renamed as USAMRDALC Provisional Command
USAMRDALC provisional command established March 1 at Fort Detrick. It combines USAMRDC USAMMA and HIFPA under Army Medical Command, with 1,286 military and 1,450 civilian personnel. Headquarters stay at Fort Detrick, plus units at Walter Reed Aberdeen Natick Fort Rucker and Fort Sam Houston. Overseas labs run by Walter Reed Institute in Germany Kenya Thailand Brazil.
