Frederick County extends school day starting March 14
The Frederick County Board of Education voted to add one hour to each school day from March 14 to May 6 to recapture seven snow days. Elementary days run 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., while middle and high schools end at 3:15 p.m. Students arrive 30 minutes early and stay 30 minutes late.
