Marvin Farbstein dean of Hood College graduate school returned safely from Cairo after a six day trip with four other American educators to evaluate the American University in Cairo. He described a frightening landing at National Airport and hours of gunfire while atop the Nile Hilton. He said the Egyptian Army set up a command post near his hotel and a curfew was imposed as rioting spread.
