Bengals Sign Maddox To Multi Year Contract
Former Frostburg State athlete Bob Maddox signed a multi year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals of the AFC. The 6 6 240 pound tackle was drafted in the seventh round this year after a misreported earlier San Francisco 49ers pickup. Maddox signed Thursday at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati and his salary was not disclosed. He also starred in Frostburg basketball and led the team in scoring last season despite an earlier injury. Chuck Foreman, a Frederick native and former UM player, was a first round pick by the Minnesota Vikings.
