Multicultural Teacher Workshop Offered in Frederick County
Frederick County educators will attend a two-summer workshop offering three graduate credits for certified teachers and pay for non-certified staff. The program, funded partly by the county, is run by the state Department of Education and the University of Maryland. It aims to boost cultural diversity understanding and school community relations through activities, panel discussions, and action plans, with follow-up sessions in spring and fall. Public participants may attend free of charge.
