Ex parte domestic violence orders end deputy escort service
Frederick County deputies will no longer provide escort services for the accused in domestic violence disputes following a district court ruling. Judge W Milner Roberts and Maj Francis J Tully explained the change, noting ex parte orders bar the respondent from the residence and may halt immediate property retrieval.
