Smithsonian offers subdued Enola Gay exhibit amid controversy
The Smithsonian opens a restrained Enola Gay display at the National Air and Space Museum, focusing on the plane and crew with a 15 minute video while omitting bomb damage and Japanese casualties. Critics claim the presentation avoids debate on morality and Japan's atrocities. Peace activists protest the exhibit outside the museum.
