Peace and Brotherhood Day will be observed this Saturday in Frederick County. The event grew from a June spontaneous response to the first Klan rally, drawing nine religious groups and fostering annual observances hosted by Trinity United Methodist Church. Despite Klan rallies planned for July and later, local officials and an Interfaith group emphasize unity, human rights, and efforts to promote peace over bigotry.
