Keymar Man Dies in Dragway Mishap Near Monrovia
Glenn F. Weeks, 28, of Francis Scott Key Highway, was killed Wednesday night at the Md. TS 0 Dragway near Monrovia when his funny car dragster left the track and struck a four‑inch steel pole. Weeks was pronounced dead at the scene by Frederick County medical examiner Dr. Robert J. Thomas. He managed the Southern States Car Care Center on Md. 355 at Evergreen Point. Cpl. M. M. Mastrino investigated the 10:10 p.m. mishap. Responding units included New Market ambulance and New Market Fire Company. This raises Frederick County auto related fatalities to 21 this year.
