Operators Appeal Coal Tax Law Decision

Opponents say the tax mostly hits consumers outside Pennsylvania and could be challenged as confiscatory. The mine cave act, approved by the court, alarms Schuylkill region operators who fear wider municipal power to inspect mine maps and workings. A classified ad in The News promises results.
