COUNTY LEAGUE TO OPEN SATURDAY
Tee Frederick County reorganized last Tuesday and will inaugurate its eighteenth season Saturday afternoon with a single game. Thurmont and Middletown meet in the Wall town at 2:30. Woodsboro and Emmitsburg are unprepared to play this week and will schedule a double-header later in the season. A four-club schedule is being drafted by Emmitsburg president M J pson and released next week. The circuit will not clash with the Tri-County League and will use players identified with three teams. Reymsted Cain eit has been assigned to umpire the Thurmont Riddletown fray. About 25 residents attended a meeting of the Emmitsburg club Thursday night. The club will be reorganized at another meeting next Tuesday. Mr. Thompson asks managers to forward rosters and forfeit fees this week.
