Sewage leak prompts water safety alerts in Walkersville

Fredericktowne Bank reported a 4 inch sewer leak in Walkersville, but officials only learned of the problem after flow reports. Glade Valley Nursing Home reports no illnesses, using on site emergency water reserves aided by a tanker by day’s end. Town planners say letters will be delivered to water customers explaining the incident.
