New YMCA Building Opens With Future Plans In Mind
The new YMCA on North Market Street opens its doors this week with registration planned as the first phase of a two stage project. The $800000 facility features a unique four lane pool with no lip, a sunlit natatorium, locker rooms with hair dryers, a social wing for meetings, and a teen center. The completed complex will total about 1.9 million dollars, adding a gymnasium, handball courts, health suite, and extra meeting spaces in four years.
