Ground broken for new TransIT multimillion center
City and county officials broke ground on a 2.4 million TransIT center at the Montevue Complex off Rocky Springs Road. A 5,333 square foot operations building and a maintenance building with three double bays, bus wash, fuel island and 45 vehicle parking will consolidate staff and fleet. Construction aims for June 1998 completion.
