Morningside Inn opens on an old barn in Mount Pleasant
The Cochran family renovates a late 1800s gambrel barn on 300 acres along McKaig Road into Morningside Inn a bed and breakfast and event site. After two years of work they hosted their first wedding Memorial Day weekend and plan executive retreats and open events. The inn features eight guest rooms with private baths a two story great room a pond deck and landscaped grounds supporting weddings conferences and seasonal activities.
