Laborer seeks disability benefits after Winchester Hall injury

A 31 year old laborer for Norman S Early Company sought Workmen's Compensation. Carl Holt testified an angle iron struck a parking meter at Winchester Hall on March 6 1958 breaking teeth and injuring his mouth. He delayed filing claiming foreman warned trouble. Widow Ruth Nalle sought survivors benefits in a second case.

Bargaining Impasse Broken In Steel Talks

New York AP reports steel wage negotiators ended a bargaining impasse threatening a strike if no accord by June 30. The industry backed talks among four man teams and union committees with 32 companies to submit progress reports. Twelve separate company and local union meetings were set for the afternoon to continue through Thursday.

Rev Anderson will be installed as pastor of the Lutheran Parish of Doubs in a vespers service led by Rev J Frank Fue at Marsland Synod. Rev Ralph Tabor will witness.
