Community Players Seek New Home and Board Seats
The Board of Directors of Community Players of Freder met to elect a president and two new treasurer and secretary roles. They plan to find storage space for equipment and a new auditorium as the Frederick County Commissioners push renovation of the west wing and the Welfare Department and Children’s Aid Society move. A two-person committee led by Mrs Eula Carter and Ross will locate a new venue for next year, aided by J Paul Thomas as publicity director. Other officers include Mrs Tee Lockwood as treasurer and secretary, and committee nominees listed with addresses. The next board meeting is set for June 26 at the Clendenin home.
