Frederick steelworker electrocuted at Carroll Creek project
Steven Randall Dawson 28 of Falling Waters West Virginia was electrocuted at 7 50 a m Tuesday while standing in a trench in water near West Patrick and North Bentz streets. He grabbed a bundle being lowered by a crane causing a high voltage line to arc. Dawson worked for Interlock Steelworkers Inc a subcontractor on the $58 million flood control project for Flippo Construction Co. Matt Potter declined comment.
