Leahy admits attack on Magee in hotel lobby fight
In East Las Vegas on June 17, former Judge David J. Leahy testified that editor Carl C. Magee was the victim, not the aggressor, in a melee linked to Magee shooting and Lasseter’s death. Leahy described confronting Magee man to man and beating him as Magee lay on a divan. He said the motive was to punish Magee for attacks on the state government and his own inability to enforce legal sentences.
