Frederick Woman's Civic Club announced completion of a special project, presenting a Language Bank book at the June picnic at Steiner House on June 14. Mildred Larson, chairperson, presented to Letty Jacobsen and Helen Moffett. The book lists names and numbers of speakers from other lineages to assist in emergencies and will be distributed to police, sheriff, hospital, post offices, and other relevant offices. Katy Rager of Mount Joy earned a bachelor of science in paralegal studies with a minor in ethics from Villa Julie College in Stevenson.
