Young Pageant Winner Humerick Qualifies for National Final
Five year old Rachel Humerick daughter of David and Sheri Humerick of Walkersville won multiple awards at the Maryland State Preliminary Pageant of the Universal Southern Charm System including Photogenic portfolio first runner up in talent best model best dressed most beautiful southern dream girl and supreme winner in the 3 6 year group She earned prizes such as plaques crowns banners a pink ice ring and a diamond sapphire ring She now becomes eligible for the national pageant in Atlanta in July Rachel studies at Ta Da Dance Studio Mount Airy Bettie Jane's Center of Dance Art Frederick and Frederick Christian Academy She is granddaughter of John and Edna Hamerick Thurmont and Russell and Doris Dennis Mount Airy Her sponsor was Dennis Kitchens and Bath Mount Airy
