Man escapes courthouse cell in Frederick bail case
Frederick man Quinton C. Demps 24 reportedly escaped from a holding cell across from a Frederick County Circuit Court during a bail hearing. He stood on a toilet and walked out when deputies reopened the door, then remained at large. Demps was arrested Tuesday for selling fake crack to an undercover officer and for probation violation. Bail hearings may move to a closed circuit TV setup linking courthouse and detention center later this summer.

Frederick Man Killed in Md 85 Head-On Crash
Kenneth E. Stultz 25 of Frederick crossed the center line on Md 85 near Crestwood Blvd just before midnight.
