Wreckage Spotted Of Missing Constellation Flight
A Pacific Northern Airlines Constellation with 14 aboard disappeared on a Cordova to Anchorage leg in bad weather. Wreckage sighted near Mr Gannett Peak led Elmendorf Air Force Base to dispatch a helicopter and search planes. Authorities reported no confirmed remainder found as planes and ships scoured the 173 mile route.
