98 Die In Two 7 Lane Wrecks Near Bahrein Island
A French passenger plane crashed in the Persian Gulf near Bahrein Island killing 98 aboard and leaving 15 to 66 missing. The Air France Skymaster en route from Saigon Indochina to Paris went down a half mile from a prior crash site. Thirteen survivors, all French citizens, were rescued.
