Help Selves When We Help Others Says WASHINGTON
Admiral Arthur W. Radford told the House Foreign Affairs Committee that overseas military aid is essential for global balance and U.S. safety. He cited Korea and Chiang Kai-shek to show allies rely on American support to maintain force levels while the U.S. develops advanced weapons. He warned against assuming American military superiority eliminates the need for partners and noted quiet conditions before expected high-level talks. A separate Virginia Supreme Court ruling required the Milk Commission to set both minimum and maximum milk prices.
