Graduation Called Off After Students Stage Street Scene
In Kitzmiller Western Maryland about 40 students staged a street scene opposing school consolidation. The graduation was canceled when Superintendent R Bowen Hardesty did not attend. Medical Co going to camp with Maryland National Guard unit
The Medical Company 115th Infantry Maryland National Guard will leave Saturday June 28 with other 29th Division units for a two week bivouac at Camp A P Hill Virginia. Advance parties depart June 24 from Frederick Armory to rendezvous with western Maryland guardsmen prior to marching to Camp Hill. The unit recently completed six weekend field problems and received a Federal commendation as the only unit in the 115th Infantry to do so. Promotions include Pfc John A.
