Frederick County Courthouse to add 39,000 square feet
The Frederick County court house built in 1980 will gain a 39,000 square foot, 5.6 million dollar expansion at 100 W. Patrick St to house the new 4th Circuit Court. Eight-year-old boy dies after being struck by truck
An eight-year-old boy from Petersville died at Johns Hopkins Hospital after a bicycle crash on Md 180 near Catholic Church Road. Terrence Bowens was seriously injured when he rode out of his driveway and was struck by a truck driven by 43-year-old Jeffrey Simms of Sharpsburg.
