Gadra lauded as Frederick County schools chief retires
Friends and staff honor Daniel Gadra two weeks before his retirement as Frederick County schools superintendent. A daytime staff reception at Hayward Road and an evening tribute at Ceresville Mansion featured remarks by Gadra’s daughter Lisa and gifts including a chair, a watercolor, and flags flown over Winchester Hall. Gadra praised colleagues for school progress and noted his 37 years in education, 19 in Frederick County, with successor Jack Dale slated to begin July 1.
