Frederick man wins national options trading contest
Maj. Bill Mentes, a Fort Detrick veterinarian and Frederick County resident, posted a 739.5 percent gain in the four month U S Trading Championship, setting a new record. He avoided computers, relying on Investors Daily and Barron’s, and plans a career in options trading while remaining in Frederick.
