Calvary Methodist Ladies Win Bowling Title
Calvary Methodist ladies swept both halves of the women’s division in the Intra Church league with St Johns second and Middletown Reform third. Mt Pleasant Methodist led the men’s division, beating the Baptist team in a roll-off and with Good Shepherd in third. The league banquet at Holiday Inn distributed prize money to 28 teams. High year totals and top individual honors went to multiple clubs, with awards also for most improved bowler Kitty Nash and 25-year honorees Corinne Wastler, John Gardiner, Jane Shoemaker, and Tommy Shoemaker.
