The Frederick County Board of Appeals will hear six cases June 23 at 7 30 p m including a request by William S Blessley and Charlotte B Blessley for a 180 000 quarter mile race track on Kepler road Petersville district with parking and drag strip. Other appeals involve an Araby road shop in an R 1 district a Buckeystown antique shop on U S 15 a Sitterding Davis millwork signboard near Adamstown and a Watkins Manor rear yard variance on Old Receiver road all tied to zoning rules and interim ordinances.

Holden Convicted on Seven Traffic Charges After Appeal
Harold V. Holden, 36, auto mechanic, was convicted on seven of 17 charges after an appeal by the State. Judge Edwin Harlan ruled the State has a right to appeal such cases. Fines totaled 200 dollars with court costs of 85.75. Convictions include failures to obey automatic signals, a patrolman, and stop signs. Vacationists Killed Nearing Home in Crash east of Tuscola
A family group of six and two sisters died in a fiery two car collision on US 36 near Tuscola Illinois Thursday night. Synod Opposes Extending Business Hours Over Six Days
