Brunswick man jailed for gambling machines in raid
Luther B. Darr, a Brunswick businessman, was fined 500 and sentenced to six months in county jail by Associate Judge Charles W. Woodward after pleading guilty to operating gambling machines. The case followed a May 24 raid that found horse race and slot machines in Carr’s establishment, with three minors present. State’s Attorney Edwin F.
