Student honored for highSAT score at Johns Hopkins ceremony
Katherine Darnell a Banner School student for seven years was among over 450 seventh graders from DC and Maryland honored at Johns Hopkins University May 9 for outstanding verbal or mathematical ability in the 1992 Johns Hopkins Talent Search. More than 50 000 students from 4 000 schools in 19 states and DC participated. Katherine and 24 Frederick County residents received state and regional awards.
