New Entrance At Greenbrier On Weekends
Maryland officials announce weekend and holiday access to Greenbrier State Park off U.S. 40 with a weekday route via a temporary dirt road off Mt Lena Road. The site on Route 40 will close on weekdays during traffic lane completion. Greenbrier, near Hagerstown on South Mountain, offers lake swimming hiking and picnicking and spans 42 acres with a 1200 foot beach and hours from 9:00 a.m. to sunset.
