Small verdicts for defendants returned in two damages cases
Two circuit court juries returned small verdicts for plaintiffs in two damage suits heard this morning before Associate Judge Patrick M. Schnauffer. Richard B. Keeney of Woodsboro won $79.65 against Keller C. Wolfe near Frederick for a June 1946 accident on the Johnsville Woodsboro road. Edwin F. Nikirk represented the plaintiff. W. Clinton McSherry and James McSherry were the defense attorneys. Grayson Tobery of Monroe Avenue was awarded $84.61 in a suit against Laurence V. Roughan of this city, Tobery alleging his parked car was struck by Roughan’s automobile in December 1948. Mr. Nikirk represented the plaintiff. the McSherry brothers were the defense attorneys.

Bicyclist Hurt In Odd Mishap In Brunswick
A 16 year old bicyclist Wilbert E. Rinehart was injured on Carroll Parkway when his bike was struck by a car while between two vehicles.
