Liar Joe Isuzu to Leave Isuzu Ads for 1991 Lineup
Detroit AP reports the Joe Isuzu character played by David Leisure will not return in American Isuzu Motors ads with the 1991 lineup. The campaign, created by Della Femina McNamee WCRS, began in 1986 and mocked exaggerated car claims with subtitles correcting them. Leisure will pursue other TV work, including the NBC show Empty Nest.
