Frederick County 350th Jubilee Celebrations Highlight Parade and Fountain Relocation
Frederick County marks the 350th birthday with a multi day celebration led by Hamp Tisdale and county officials. A large parade, marching from North Hents to West Patrick, drew crowds along a new route. The fountain at North Market and Seventh streets was relocated to spruce up the main street, a project praised by Mayor Ron Young though met with initial opposition. Weather outlook notes high heat with possible drought concerns. Community notes celebrate local business leadership and regional agricultural initiatives.
