Border crackdown targets Mexican workers in four-state region
The four state border tallies show over 450000 migrants captured last year and sent back to Mexico, with California alone accounting for more than 235000. Landon projects a possible 800000 this year, noting charter C-46 planes ferry migrants into Mexico while current daily loads remain low. Hank Hasiwar advocates removing Mexican contract workers from the strike area, asserting they must receive current wages and cannot be used to break a strike under an accord with Mexico.
