New feud erupts in coal region of Hatfields and McCoys
In the Matewan area of Kentucky and West Virginia a new violent clash pits non union coal truckers against striking United Mine Workers. A non union driver was killed and four others wounded as snipers fired from hills near the Massey plant. Local residents fear more deaths as the conflict grows.
