Contempt Case Dismissed Over City Plant Plans Payment
Judges Urner Worthington and Peter dismissed a taxpayers petition seeking to hold the Mayor and Aldermen in contempt for a $3 088 60 payment to engineer Charles L Reeder. The court ruled the injunction did not cover the payment and that the money was for contracted services, not injunctive relief. No bond will be required to reimburse the city if advances are needed, and a hearing is planned soon with 20 hand present for now. Engineer Reeder attended the proceedings.
