Women delegates urged anti alcohol pledge at federation convention
Mrs Nicholson urged General Federation of Women’s Clubs delegates to back a candidate who supports Prohibition. She warned the 18th amendment and urged dismissal of any nominee not pledged to enforcement. The talk framed the 1920s campaign as a clash over liquor, urging unity beyond party lines. A separate note mentions a new dog racing track with electric hare features in England.
