Nuts for the squirrels plea drives food drive by city official
A city official reported that Harvey R. Cramer who cares for local squirrels appealed for Christmas nuts. Residents with spare nuts are asked to deliver them to Mr Cramer across from the squirrel cage so the nuts can be distributed to the animals. Forfeitures dominate Peoples Court as magistrate H Reese Shoemaker Jr handles cases from US 40 near Braddock Mountain. Citizens named include Hackett Kauffman Shirk and others with fines ranging from 6.45 to 26.45 dollars for traffic and hill violations. Additional notices cite Putman RFD 4 Frederick and Rattiff Woodside Md among those fined.
