County man facing multiple drug charges in Maryland
Raymond Reginald Loun I., 23, of 12606 Fingerboard Road, was arrested after passing out in a car stopped in the westbound Md. 26 lane near Mount Pleasant. Deputies found marijuana, PCP, and paraphernalia. Walkersville rescue personnel aided him. He remains jailed awaiting a bond hearing.

Crane knocks out power along Md 26 in Frederick area
A crane operator is blamed for tapping a 34.5 kV feeder along Md 26 from the Gas House Pike construction site to Libertytown. At about 4 10 p.m. power to residences and businesses in Frederick was interrupted briefly while crews repaired the line and restored service in 20 to 40 minutes. The contractor was not named.

Two Historic Trolleys Rescued For Frederick and Hagerstown
Historic trolleys from Washington DC lines were donated to Frederick and Hagerstown with moving costs covered by the recipients. DWI charges filed after injury accident on I 270
Maryland State Police reported two personal injury incidents Sunday with no serious injuries. At 12:30 a.m. on southbound I 270 near a prior accident scene, Anthony Hill was rear ended by William Kuhar who failed to slow. Kuhar tested .09 BAC and faced DWI and failure to avoid a collision charges. Hill was treated and released. A second incident on Sabillasville Road involved Wilbur Shatzer and his wife Judy after a rear wheel blowout caused a ditch landing. they were treated and released at Waynesboro Hospital.
