MARVA Wins In Three Age Brackets At McCurdy Field
Frederick eliminated from the 13 year old Babe Ruth tournament as MARVA 13 to 15 year olds won 7 3 over Cecil and 12 6 over Montgomery Village while Frederick 12 year olds fell 12 6 to Montgomery Village and PG South edged Mason-Dixon 3 2 at Grove Stadium. MARVA’s McLane and O’Hara led with strong two way play and stolen bases. Frederick’s Kendro Hawkins and Brennan produced early offense but late rallies sealed the losses.
