Thurmont youth dies in shooting accident
A 14 year old Catoctin High School student, Shawn William Wine of Kelbaugh Road, died after a .22 caliber handgun discharged on the back porch while he was alone. He was found by his father between 12:30 pm and 3:20 pm and transported to Gettysburg Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
