Family Reunions Are Casualty Of The War
The Old-time family reunions are virtually non existent this summer due to the war and gasoline restrictions. Week by week, reunions planned for this year are canceled for the duration of the war. Past gatherings, often at parks or resorts with wide state attendance, are fading as families skip picnics and distant meetups. Only Braddock Heights continues gatherings with gas free trolley service. The article notes a closing line about the north pole and a drifting sky reference.
